| Tickets for the event are now on sale, numbers may be limited to ensure the UKs largest garden opening is a pleasurable experience. 10th and 11th April 2010 (10- 5pm both days) promises to be the UK's biggest gardening open weekend of the year when Cornwall stages two of the finest horticultural events in Britain. Tregothnan is on track to be the UKs largest garden opening in 2010. raising over £30,000 for charity in 2009, as Cornwall Largest Garden opening. With such huge scale and diversity of plants it is sure to be a spectacular occasion. The Private Garden has occasional charity openings that have become the largest such event in Cornwall, drawing visitors from London and across the UK. Accommodation in Cornwall is at a premium as guests plan to visit the County Spring Flower show at Boconnoc being staged at the same time. This promises to start the 2010 season in a memorable way while raising potentially record amounts for a worthy charity. Pirate FM have also nominated Precious Lives as main charity in 2010 and will be broadcasting from Tregothnan with interviews by special guests and supporters. Tregothnan Garden is not open to the public, private Garden Visits by appointment only. All proceeds to Charity, the main nominated Charity is The Precious Lives appeal for the Childrens Hospice southwest. |
