Although the garden is not open to the public you may, with prior appointment, visit this amazing Garden. Neil Bennett the Head Gardener or a gardener acts as your guide, discussing the fascinating history of the garden, its impressive plant collections and exciting plans for the future. The tour of the garden, and a cream tea in the summer house, lasts approximately two hours and costs £50 per person. This is a special experience for anyone, not just garden lovers. Our guests are always spellbound by the scale and diversity of the visit as well as the passion of one family for the incredible living collection. In 2008 a new tea garden is included in the walk round, in the magical Himalayan Valley you will now find an authentic 'piece of Darjeeling'.
Visits usually begin at either 10.00am or 2.30pm. Disabled facilities available by arrangement.
